Welcome
It takes courage to step into the work of growth, change, and healing—both for clients and the clinicians who guide them. As an EMDR Trainer and consultant, my focus is on helping other therapists deepen their clinical skills, confidence, and understanding of trauma-informed care.
Through years of experience treating complex cases—including trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and eating disorders—I’ve developed a passion for teaching EMDR therapy in a way that feels approachable, compassionate, and effective. My goal is to help clinicians not only learn the protocols, but embody the principles of EMDR so they can bring true transformation to the clients they serve.
Therapy is evolving, and so is our profession. As more people seek healing, the need for well-trained, attuned EMDR clinicians continues to grow. I’m honored to support therapists in that journey—helping them build mastery, confidence, and trust in the EMDR process.
My Approach to Training
I value growth, curiosity, and the freedom that comes from understanding ourselves and our work more deeply. As a trainer, I believe every clinician is doing their best—and that with intentional guidance, reflection, and skill development, we can always do better. Effective training, like effective therapy, combines strategy, compassion, and practice.
My approach to EMDR training is relational and experiential. I create an environment where therapists feel seen, supported, and encouraged to take risks in their learning process. I emphasize kindness, humor, and a focus on real-world application—so clinicians walk away not only understanding EMDR, but feeling confident in using it effectively with their clients.
Since beginning my career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2002, I’ve drawn from a wide range of modalities—including EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Relational Therapy—to develop a teaching style that honors both structure and flexibility. My goal as a trainer is to help clinicians integrate EMDR into their unique therapeutic identities, bringing greater depth, confidence, and creativity to their practice.
